Lexicon of the Republic
Nomina. Vigila. Responde. Name. Watch. Answer.
A glossary of the doctrinal terms most often encountered in Republic communications. Latin terms appear in italic; English glosses follow.
To name is to refuse the comfort of euphemism. The Republic uses precise vocabulary because precise vocabulary survives translation, time, and contention.
I. Mottoes — the Four Tiers
The Republic’s motto system is fixed in four tiers, each with a defined deployment.

The official seal motto. Used on the Sigillum Vigiliae, public profile headers, and the Charter signature line. Answers whom we stand against.
Tier III — Doctrinal Triad (Action)
Nomina. Vigila. Responde. Name. Watch. Answer.
The action triad. Used in operation briefings and intelligence bulletins. Answers what we do.
Tier IV — Unity Formula
Unum Genus. Una Res Publica. Una Vigilantia. One Species. One Republic. One Vigilance.
